A Proprietary Insulator Layer Built on 16 Years of Nonwoven Manufacturing
Ultrasonic Compacted Nonwoven Insulator
Product Description
Most mattress manufacturers use a standard needlepunched felt insulator — a commodity product purchased from a third-party supplier. Ours is different. Greatech's ultrasonic compacted nonwoven insulator is manufactured in house using a proprietary process we developed ourselves. High-frequency ultrasonic energy compacts the nonwoven fibre structure without heat or chemical binders, producing a denser, more structurally uniform layer yet more breathable than needlepunched felt.
The result is an insulator that prevents comfort materials from migrating between spring pouches over time, distributes body weight evenly across the spring surface, and contributes to the initial feel of the mattress.
Key Benefits
No chemical binders
Ultrasonic compaction — no heat, no adhesives, no additives introduced into the fibre structure.
Consistent density
Produced to a defined GSM specification. 240gsm and 300gsm are standard commercial options.
Mechanically integrated
Locked into the mattress construction at the perimeter — not simply resting on top of the spring unit.
In house manufactured
Same facility, same quality standards as every other nonwoven component we supply.
Proprietary process
Proprietary ultrasonic compaction technology — in house manufactured at our Dongguan facility.
