Founded in 2010, Greatech Nonwoven is a manufacturer of PP spunbond nonwoven fabric supplying customers across medical and hygiene, agriculture, furniture and upholstery, mattress manufacturing, packaging, and industrial applications.
Over more than 16 years of manufacturing, Greatech has built its reputation around one core principle: long term product integrity through stable manufacturing consistency. While much of the nonwoven market competes primarily on short term cost reduction, our focus has remained on reliable fibre formation, stable GSM control, dependable tensile performance, and consistent batch to batch quality across demanding industrial applications.
Greatech operates integrated manufacturing facilities in Dongguan and Yueyang County, China, while continuing to expand customer support and commercial presence across Australia and New Zealand. This approach allows us to combine large scale production capability with responsive international communication, technical support, and long term partnership development across global markets.
Today, Greatech supplies customers across the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Europe, and other international markets requiring dependable product quality, manufacturing consistency, and reliable long term supply capability.

Manufacturing Capability
Our PP spunbond nonwoven fabrics are manufactured from 9gsm to 250gsm in widths ranging from 1.6m to 3.2m, with customisation available across GSM, width, colour, treatment, and roll specifications. Available treatments include UV stabilisation, flame retardant, hydrophilic, hydrophobic, and anti-static finishes tailored to customer application requirements.
For medical and hygiene grade production, we manufacture using 100% virgin polypropylene with no calcium carbonate filler blends, no chemical binders, and no recycled content. Across all applications, our manufacturing philosophy prioritises stable raw material quality, cleaner fabric formation, reliable converting behaviour, and dependable long term product performance.
Mattress Nonwoven Components
Beyond spunbond nonwoven fabric manufacturing, Greatech also develops integrated mattress nonwoven component systems including pocket spring pouch fabric, separation layers, and our proprietary ultrasonic compacted insulator technology. By manufacturing multiple nonwoven mattress layers in house, we maintain tighter production control, stable material consistency, and reliable structural performance throughout the finished mattress system.

The People Behind Greatech
Mr Jiancheng Wang
Mr Wang moved to Shenzhen in the early 1990s, at a time when the city was transforming from a small border town into the manufacturing and export capital of the world. Special Economic Zone policies were drawing factories, traders, and entrepreneurs from across China, and the pace of commercial activity was unlike anywhere else on earth. Working in export trade alongside leading manufacturers during that period, Mr Wang developed a ground-level understanding of how goods move, how trust is built between buyers and suppliers, and what separates manufacturers who endure from those who do not.
In 2009, he established Greatech's first manufacturing facility in Tangxia, Dongguan, focused on PP spunbond nonwoven fabric and building an export customer base across the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Japan and Europe. In 2018, he expanded the business with the establishment of a second integrated facility in Yueyang County, Hunan, extending Greatech's capability into mattress component manufacturing alongside nonwoven fabric production.
Over more than sixteen years, his approach has remained unchanged: uncompromising raw material quality, no shortcuts in production, and a belief that a manufacturer's reputation and integrity is its most valuable and most fragile asset. His philosophy is simple and non-negotiable. If a product is not safe and honest enough to give to his own family, it will not leave the factory under the Greatech name. That standard has defined every production decision, every supplier relationship, and every customer commitment the business has made.
Ryan Wang
Ryan grew up between China and New Zealand, moving to Auckland at age five and completing his schooling at Kristin School before studying Law and Commerce at the University of Auckland. He practised as a commercial and litigation lawyer for six years before joining Greatech to help lead the company's international growth strategy.
Ryan is responsible for developing Greatech's presence in overseas markets, including market entry initiatives, distributor and supply partnerships, and long-term customer relationships across Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the United States, and other international markets. Drawing on his legal background and firsthand understanding of manufacturing operations, he works closely with customers to understand their requirements, solve supply chain challenges, and develop practical long-term solutions that support their business objectives.
Ryan's transition from law to manufacturing was driven by a belief that strong businesses are built on the same foundations as strong professional relationships: transparency, reliability, integrity, and accountability. His focus is on carrying these principles into new markets while helping customers solve complex sourcing challenges, build resilient supply partnerships, and achieve sustainable long-term growth.
